Founder

Joy founded Do It Right Cleaning in 2014 after recognizing a significant need for professional cleaning services while working as a maintenance technician for an apartment community in Blacksburg, Virginia, from 2012 to 2014. With her hands-on experience in turnover cleans, Joy saw the potential to serve the local market better and launched her own company. In the first year, she led a team of four, managing to turn over 165 apartments in just three months.
Under her leadership, Do It Right Cleaning continued to expand, and today the company has cleaned over 2,000 units. In 2017, Joy extended the company’s services to include commercial cleaning, servicing a variety of office environments. Do It Right Cleaning is now recognized as the largest non-franchised cleaning company in Southwest Virginia, known for its professionalism, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Joy’s vision and commitment to quality have been instrumental in the company’s growth and success.

Ron

President

Ron is the President of Do It Right Cleaning and has been integral to the company’s growth since its founding. With 15 years of experience as a chef and kitchen manager, he transitioned to the cleaning industry in 2011, starting with ABM, where he quickly became a supervisor. He then worked at Carilion Hospital as a floor care technician, developing a cleaning plan for the OR, and also led cleaning efforts at a J.C. Penney site with Diversified Maintenance.

Joining Do It Right Cleaning full-time in 2015, Ron applies his expertise in business development and financial management to enhance the company’s strategic initiatives, marketing, and branding. A hands-on leader, he is involved in operations, staff training, and cultivating a strong company culture. His focus on client retention and expansion has positioned Do It Right Cleaning as a leader in Southwest Virginia’s cleaning industry.

A hands-on leader, Ron is actively involved in various aspects of the business. When time permits, he assists with operations, including cleaning, hiring, and training staff, ensuring the company maintains its high standards of service. Ron has been instrumental in establishing key systems that support the company’s success, including fostering a strong company culture, focusing on strategic growth, and leading leadership development initiatives. His efforts in client retention and expansion projects have also been vital in positioning Do It Right Cleaning as a leader in Southwest Virginia’s cleaning industry.

Isabella

Marketing Coordinator

Isabella brought several years of valuable cleaning experience to Do It Right Cleaning when she initially joined as a part-time evening cleaner. Demonstrating remarkable dedication, and a strong work ethic, she rapidly progressed through the company and now serves as our Marketing Coordinator. Isabella’s ability to seamlessly handle multiple responsibilities highlights her versatility and leadership. She not only manages the day-to-day office operations
with precision but also plays a key role in driving our marketing strategies, helping the company grow its brand and client base. Her strategic thinking, creativity, and proactive approach ensure that our marketing efforts remain effective and engaging.Her deep understanding of both the operational and marketing aspects of the business, combined with her ability to adapt to any challenge, makes Isabella a cornerstone of our company. Whether she’s streamlining office processes, engaging with clients, or developing new marketing initiatives, Isabella’s commitment to excellence and innovation shines through.
